Gary Leonard - Solicitor

Gary is a solicitor and a founding partner of the firm. Gary has over thirty years experience of immigration and asylum cases. He also has a wide range of litigation experience, both civil and criminal, and is a Law Society Criminal Accredited Defence Solicitor.

In addition to representing clients in relation to Criminal Defence cases in the Magistrates Court, Gary also handles Child Care cases, represents Divorce clients in financial disputes, and advises on Immigration issues.

Gary is also able to assist people with Human Trafficking and Modern Day Slavery compensation claims.

Gary is an accredited member of the Law Society's Children Panel, a Criminal Defence Solicitor, and a Local Duty Solicitor.

Jane Wilson - Solicitor

Jane is an experienced Immigration/Asylum lawyer, and is a Level 2 accredited member of the Law Society’s Immigration and Asylum Scheme (IAAS).

She also has a wide experience of litigation matters, both in our Housing Department, and as a Family lawyer.

Our Housing Department deals with issues such as homelessness, eviction etc. Jane is a Legal Aid Agency accredited housing supervisor.

Rosemary Calles - Criminal Defence Executive

Rosemary has over twenty years’ experience of providing Criminal Defence representation. She advises and assists clients who have to attend the police station for interviews and prepares defence cases for the Magistrates Court and Crown Court. Rosemary liaises with barristers who are appointed to represent clients in the Crown Court, and arranges case conferences where necessary.

Rosemary is also a Police Station Accredited Representative and thus represents clients during Police investigations.

Lee Ann Harvey - Immigration & Asylum Law Supervisor

Lee Ann is an experienced Immigration/Asylum practitioner, and the supervisor for our Immigration Department. She has extensive experience in dealing with immigration and asylum applications and appeals.

She undertakes legally-aid work, and offers affordable fixed fees where legal aid is not available. Fixed fees are available for one-off advice, or for dealing with a complete application, or appeal.

Lee Ann is a dedicated Immigration/Asylum law practitioner, and is committed to ensuring the best outcome for her clients.

She is also a Level 2 accredited member of the Law Society's Immigration and Asylum Scheme (IAAS), as well as being an IAAS accredited supervisor. 

Jennifer Pillinger - Solicitor

Jennifer is an expert Housing & Family Law solicitor, with over ten years experience. She can offer specialist advice in a calm and reassuring manner which is easy to understand, helping to protect you, your family, and your property.

She undertakes legally-aid work, and offers affordable fixed fees where legal aid is not available. 

She provides a dedicated personal service to clients.

Jennifer aims to guide her clients through complex areas of the law as simply as possible and offers practical advice to help them avoid lengthy and costly court proceedings. Where matters do result in court proceedings she aims to resolve issues as quickly and efficiently as possible, bringing matters to an economic and timely conclusion.

Jennifer also enjoys teaching and is a part-time law lecturer at the BPP University Law School in London, and Bournemouth University.


Cristiane Taylor - Solicitor

Cristiane is very experienced in Housing Law, advising both private landlords and tenants. Cristiane has advised tenants as a duty solicitor on County Court Possession Days. More recently, she has received instructions predominately from private landlords, financial institutions, and Housing Associations. She has over twelve years’ civil litigation experience. She is our Housing Department supervisor.

Cristiane is also an expert in Family Law. She has a keen interest in acting for clients in Care Proceedings and in Family Cases involving an international element. Most recently, Cristiane successfully applied to prevent the removal of a child from the UK. Cristiane also deals with Contact Disputes, and Non-molestation Injunctions.

Cristiane also deals with Private Client matters, including Wills, Estate Planning, and Powers of Attorney.

She undertakes both private and legally-aid work, and offers affordable fixed fees where legal aid is not available.

Dambudzo Tenner - Solicitor

Dambudzo is a consultant solicitor with Leonard Cannings. She is an experienced litigation solicitor and deals mainly with Housing Law matters.

Kelly Lindsay - Immigration & Asylum Law Executive

Kelly is an integral part of our Immigration & Asylum team, dealing with immigration and asylum applications and appeals.

She is also experienced in Family Law, dealing with child care cases in our Children, Domestic Abuse, Families, & Divorce Department.

Nadia Chowdhary - Immigration & Asylum Law Executive

Nadia is an experienced Immigration and Asylum Law Executive, and is often a client’s first point of contact for people seeking help with these issues.

She is also a Level 1 accredited member of the Law Society's Immigration and Asylum Scheme (IAAS), and deals with immigration and asylum applications and appeals.

Karen Labibi - Immigration Department Administrator

Karen has worked in the field of Immigration and Asylum law for a number of years. She works closely with the Immigration and Asylum fee earners in preparing cases, including appeals, and instructing experts, interpreters, and counsel.

Karen is often the first point of contact for clients with Immigration and Asylum difficulties.

Katarzyna Kotynska - Immigration & Asylum Law Executive

Katarzyna is a trainee Immigration and Asylum Law Executive. She helps prepare cases, including appeals, working together with the accredited Immigration and Asylum fee earners, and assists in instructing experts, interpreters, and counsel.
