This department is headed by Lee Ann Harvey (Senior Level 2 Immigration and Asylum Adviser, and Supervisor accredited by the Law Society of England and Wales Immigration and Asylum accreditation scheme). Lee Ann has over 10 years' experience working in the Immigration/Asylum fields of law.
Jane Wilson (Senior Level 2 Immigration and Asylum Adviser) also works within this department alongside Nadia Chowdhary.
Leonard Cannings has a Legal Aid contract which covers a large area of Southern England, between Bristol in the West, Oxford in the North and Brighton in the East. Legal Aid is available for Asylum claims and claims which involve Domestic Abuse/Violence, Settlement Protection (Indefinite Leave following Asylum), unaccompanied Asylum seeking Children, Human Trafficking, and Compensation Claims relating to Human Trafficking.
In the event that Legal Aid is not available, we have a range of fixed fees aimed at assisting clients with all other Immigration issues. Those fees are:
- £100.00 (including VAT) for a 1 x hour initial consultation
- Application Checking Service £250.00 (inclusive of VAT)
- Quotations can be provided for more complex work on a case by case basis.
